Karyn completed her Bachelor of Education at the University of Alberta in 1996. She taught high school French and English in Osoyoos and Calgary for several years, before returning to university to complete her law degree. While a law student, Karyn gained experience working alongside the professionals at Benson Edwards LLP and after receiving her LL.B. in 2007, returned to the firm to complete her Articles. Karyn is involved in many practice areas, in particular civil litigation and family law.
Karyn has called the Okanagan home since 1992. She has worked with many local organizations, including the Kelowna Museum Association and the YMCA -YWCA of the Central Okanagan.
