Keith practices extensively in the areas of corporate commercial law, securities law and banking and he has represented clients in the technology, financial, industrial, mining and oil and gas industries.
He has a wide variety of experience with initial public offerings, private placements, public financings, reverse take-over bids and is regularly involved in corporate commercial transactions including banking and securitizations, purchase and sale agreements, debt financings, share purchases, share exchange agreements, corporate restructuring and mergers. His experience in securities matters includes issues throughout Canada as well as the United States and he regularly has represented clients to regulatory authorities including the Canadian securities commissions, the TSX Venture Exchange, the TSX Exchange and the AMEX.
He has participated as a panelist and presenter at seminars conducted by the Legal Education Society of Alberta and the Canadian Bar Association, Alberta Branch. He recently joined our firm from Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP in Calgary, and prior to his legal career was for 15 years a commercial banker with several major Canadian financial institutions.
