Mr. Salloum is one of the longest practicing lawyers in Kelowna, having practiced law in Kelowna since 1968. Mr. Salloum was called to the Saskatchewan Bar in 1955 after obtaining his LL.B. from the University of Saskatchewan in 1953 and being admitted to the Saskatchewan Bar in 1955. Mr. Salloum was awarded with his Queen's Counsel (Q.C.) designation in Saskatchewan in 1966, an honour only a select few lawyers receive.
Mr. Salloum has been very active in his community his entire career including being a Past-President of the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Kelowna General Hospital Board.
Mr. Salloum was an avid sailor and in 1982 he won first place in the Victoria-Maui International Yacht Race in his sailboat the "Okanagan Express" . Mr. Salloum now enjoys golfing in his free time.
