Rose first moved to Kelowna in 1986 from Prince George and has called Kelowna home ever since. She attended the University of Victoria for both her undergraduate and her law degrees, following which she returned to Kelowna to practice.
Rose focuses her practice in the areas of wills and estate planning, elder law, probate, real estate, mortgages, corporate and commercial law, and development on first nations lands, particularly Westbank First Nations lands. As part of her concentration on estate planning, Rose provides clients with the tools to deal with incapacity, health care decisions and meeting business obligations while advising clients of the bases for challenging one’s will and the protective measures available to avoid such challenges. As this area becomes increasingly complex, she assists clients in planning their estates so as to meet the needs of blended and separated families. Rose is also committed to assisting businesses, and as part of the firm’s commitment to its clients and the community, has provided pro bono services in this area.
Rose volunteers as a judge for public speaking and debating competitions, is a Big Sister, and is broadly involved in Kelowna’s many volunteering opportunities. She has an ongoing interest in legal history and rearranging furniture.
