Sean was called to the bars of Prince Edward Island in 2001, Yukon Territory in 2004 and BC in 2006. He served part of his articles with the Supreme Court of PEI, and has appeared as counsel in the Courts of Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, the Yukon , British Columbia and Alberta. After practicing with the litigation group of a large national firm he decided to make his home in the beautiful Okanagan.
He has represented clients of all sizes, including chartered banks, energy and resource companies, First Nation governments and development companies, federal government departments, a US state government and some of the most dynamic small businesses in the country. His preferred areas of practice include commercial litigation, contractual disputes, construction, aboriginal, administrative, energy and employment law. Sean assists clients with alternative dispute resolution where appropriate. He has advocated for clients before several administrative tribunals and in the courts at both the trial and appellate level.
Sean is active in the community. He is a volunteer director for the Okanagan section of the Alpine Club of Canada, an active member of the Mountain Bikers of the Central Okanagan, and sits on the board of a registered charitable society. When not at the office or at a hearing Sean is usually outside hiking, biking, climbing, or skiing, or inside reading or playing music.
